Get to know the Maui Christian Church.
The Maui Christian Church is a group of Christians who love the Lord and His church. Individually and collectively we're on a spiritual journey in which we're actively seeking God and His guidance for our lives. We are a collection of saved sinners who are thankful for God's grace and mercy, but who are learning more and more about the life of devotion that his grace teaches us to live.
Our association with Disciples Today means we share fellowship with churches in most major cities in America and around the world.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
Sovereignty
We believe in the Sovereignty and Authority of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as the trinity to accomplish the impossible and believe in the astounding grace and mercy that can extend beyond all understanding. Knowing that the Word of God the Bible is the best source given to us we rely on it to guide us and provide the basis of our beliefs.

We believe Faith comes from a heart that is responding to the love we are shown by God. This faith is in God the Father, Jesus the son, and the Holy Spirit as the trinity. That Jesus came to the Earth lived a sinless life and was crucified and resurrected on the third day. We believe the Bible as the inspired Word of God and standard for our lives.

We believe in repentance as a mind change stemming from a pierced heart and desire for nearness to God. This change is from the ways of this world to the ways of God. That this change of mind will manifest in a change of actions and choices in the continuous lifetime pursuit of righteousness and holiness.

We believe in baptism by full immersion for the forgiveness of sin and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

We believe Salvation is only by the grace of God and not achieved by works or personal actions. That there is no way to earn or deserve the grace that is given.Responding to the love shown to us we follow and believe in the biblical example of faith, repentance, and baptism as necessary responses to God’s actions to receive this gift of salvation.

We believe that as Christians we are a part of God’s Kingdom and God’s Church - His Family. We believe in the importance of regularly meeting together in fellowship as a family of believers.

We believe in spreading the message of reconciliation through evangelism to the World and teaching people to follow Christ. We also believe in the continuous training and learning in faith and righteousness for all disciples.
