God wants a RELATIONSHIP with you

Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”
God’s desire to know you started as He created you. You were fearfully and wonderfully made! Think about that for a second, verse 14 reminds us that all of God's works are wonderful, but you were fearfully made. Even the Creator of the universe had a special fascination when He made you. He was not afraid, but He was aware of just how special He was making you.
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.” Acts 17:26-27 NIV
I love this! God loves us so much that He places us where we are so we can know Him. Did you catch the word MIGHT? God works so that we can have a chance to know Him. God reaches out to us, whether or not we will respond.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 NIV
God’s love for us is that He chose us and died for us before we changed. God did not wait for us to change to love us or die for us. He is willing to sacrifice before we even know Him.
Not only does He want to know us, He wants to know you. You are uniquely His. He knew you before the creation of the world, and like a parent with a child He eagerly looks forward to seeing you.
For us the choice is how do we respond? I’d encourage you to read the following devotionals to see different ways we can come to know God better.
